All classes are certified by the American Canoe Association. Skills Classes include a $5 ACA event membership. Assessment Courses require a full membership with the ACA.   

We offer monthly courses in the basics of kayaking. 

• Kayak 101-  $40 - 1.5 Hour   
• Half Day Safety Course -  $70 - 4 Hour Includes Reentry Training 

An ACA Skills Assessment Course provides Documentations of all Level 1 - River Kayaking Skills. 

This is recommended for all guides, troop leaders or camp consolers leading kayaking trips. 

This certification replaced the American Red Cross Small Craft Safety Course with the American Camp Association.

This is a requirement for most camp counselors. It is recommended to all guides and groups leaders.

Both Skills Instruction and Assessment Certifications Available.  

We are familiar with the strokes required for the Kayaking Merrit Badge. Contact us for personal instruction or Troop pricing.  

Private lessons offer participants an individualized approach to skill-based instruction and progression at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Participants work one-on-one with an instructor to master the techniques necessary for a variety of kayaking disciplines including L1 river running.
